Presenters
Melody Rayl As a partner in Fisher Phillips’ Kansas City office, Melody Rayl zealously advocates for private and public-sector employers in all aspects of employment related counseling and litigation. Melody regularly advises and counsels her clients through difficult situations and provides training to supervisory and management level personnel on a variety of employment related topics to assist them in avoiding litigation before it happens. When litigation does occur, Melody works with employers to develop an appropriate litigation strategy to address the unique nuances of each situation. She has successfully defended clients in individual discrimination, harassment and retaliation litigation from inception through resolution before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. Melody is a frequent speaker on employment related topics to human resource professional and attorney colleagues throughout Kansas and Missouri.
Darian Doser is an associate in the Fisher Phillips’ Kansas City office and represents and advises clients in labor and employment-related matters. Darian enjoys understanding the unique needs of various businesses and assisting them in navigating both compliance issues and the litigation process in a way that is most beneficial for overall business needs. Darian has successfully defended cases with the EEOC, through trial, and in arbitration. She also frequently advises clients on restrictive covenant issues and strategies for mitigating the negative impact of employee defections.
Harper Palmer is an associate in the firm’s Kansas City office and focuses on a variety of labor and employment matters. She has successfully defended clients in both state and federal court and before the EEOC. Harper provides advice and counsel on a variety of issues, assists in drafting workplace policies and employment-related contracts, including non-compete and non-disclosure agreements, and is also well-versed in traditional labor matters and union negotiations.
Tammy Wellbrock After serving in leadership roles for 3 different industries, as well as launched her own professional development business, Tammy Wellbrock is passionate about connecting, educating, and empowering others. Currently, she serves as a Creative Ad Sales Representative for Nex-Tech, presenting often at state and national conferences within the broadband industry. Regardless of her role, she focuses on helping people “get out of their own way” to reach success. Tammy entertains and enlightens others by sharing her energy and expertise.
