Family Friendly Workplaces presentation will help you understand the key components of the new Federal Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) and the Pump for Nursing Mothers Act. You will also leave today's meeting with three practical implementation strategies for each of the new laws. Lastly, today's meeting will empower you to be able to communicate the benefits oto businesses to comply with the new laws.

Presenting Family Friendly Workplaces is Brenda Bandy. She is the Executive Director for the Kansas Breastfeeding Coalition and an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant. Brenda Bandy oversees the KBC’s programs, working across public and private sectors to remove barriers to breastfeeding. Since 2009, she has assisted hundreds of businesses in Kansas, at no cost, to support their breastfeeding workers and comply with federal laws while creating a family-friendly workplace. Brenda’s years of experience working with employers have given her many creative solutions to solve any employer’s challenges to providing space and break time for their breastfeeding employees.
