Speakers: Karen McCullough, Director of Career Services & Lisa Karlin, Career Advisor, Fort Hays State University
FHSU Career Services office will provide information about job searching and internships - especially in the local setting. Employers can expect to learn about Career Ready Competencies for internships and competencies to show if students are "career ready". Steps for creating an internship will be introduced, as well as tips for writing proper job descriptions, creating an established hiring process, and perfecting the onboarding and training process for students who are ready to enter the workforce.
