Topic: Drugs in the Workplace - It seems now, more than ever, questions are coming up about marijuana use and edible drug infused foods. How does an employer handle these situations when they arise or something occurs off the clock or even out of state? Trooper Tod will be presenting information on these situations and answering questions about the danger and legality of it all.

Our Speaker:  Trooper Tod Hileman, Kansas Highway Patrol - Trooper Tod Hileman started working in law enforcement in 1992 at the Thomas County Kansas Sheriff’s Office in Colby, working there until 1998. Then he was hired on with the Kansas Highway Patrol and was a road trooper until 2004. After this he began his current position of Public Relations. He has been the PIO for both Troop H in Chanute and Troop D in Hays, where he currently resides. Trooper Tod has also instructed Pursuit Driving at the Training Academy, Forensic Mapping for the Critical Highway Accident Response Team, Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) operator for pilots and assisted the Drug and Alcohol unit. Currently, along with his seven counterparts, he teaches a variety of classes across the state as well as runs two social media pages for the KHP.  His Twitter account is @TrooperTodKHP and Facebook account is Trooper Tod KHP Hays, Kansas.
